Zeux — Simplifying banking and investments

As the crypto world was in the midst of a downturn, with records lows for both price and volume; an announcement was made in the fourth quarter of 2018 which could potentially reshape and restructure the entire cryptosphere.

Zeux was introduced to streamline existing financial services by simplifying the complexities involved with financial management. When fully integrated, Zeux will be the world’s pioneer mobile cryptocurrency financial and investment hub.

An introduction to Zeux was covered in a previous article of mine. The following is a quick recap of what Zeux was aiming to bridge and solve:

  • Simplifying the art of investing with a universally applicable and easily accessible mobile application. Zeux will serve as an entry point for both fiat currency and cryptocurrencies.
  • Besides managing your bank accounts through Open Banking and the Payment Services Directive, Zeux also simplifies the tedious task of acquiring, managing and transferring cryptocurrencies.
  • Point of sale application and adoption for cryptocurrencies. This is pivotal as it separates and distinguishes Zeux from the chasing pack.
  • Subjugate exorbitant banking and transfer fees. We should not be at the mercy of banks and third party payment merchants any longer.

What has happened since then?

Quite a fair bit. Zeux has progressed from a white-paper full of potential and promise to a developing product and a working plan in action.

  • Concluded token pre and public sale — The initial step of most cryptocurrencies is the conception of the coin or token itself. The method predominantly utilized by most cryptocurrencies is through a crowd funding mechanism known as an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). An ICO is where a fin-tech company looks for outside investors for early support, in return providing them a portion of the ownership stake by issuing cryptocurrency tokens specific to the ICO.
Zeux has successfully completed its ICO by conducting its token pre sale on Cobinhood* and subsequently, its public sale on LATOKEN exchange. A total of 9,000 Ethereums (ETH) were raised from the Zeux ICO, with 5,000 ETH and 4,000 ETH from the from the token pre and public sale respectively.
In essence, Zeux performed exceptionally well with its ICO, successfully achieving the hard cap of its token sale. With strong confidences instilled into its investors and a successful token sale, Zeux was well primed for the next phase of its incredible journey.
*Initial plans to complete the entire Zeux token sale on Cobinhood exchange where thwarted due to some unforeseen consequences with the exchange.
  • Zeux token listings —Following a successful token sale, Zeux was all set for the cryptocurrency world. The Zeux token (ZUC) was first made available for the world to trade on 5 July 2019. Coinall, a fast emerging cryptocurrency exchange and a strategic partner of the world’s leading exchange OKEx; holds the honour for being the first exchange to list ZUC, paving the way for many more exchanges to follow suit.
Since then, ZUC has been subsequently listed on HotBit exchange. HotBit is another reputable and fast emerging exchange with great trade volume and liquidity. It is essential to highlight that trading on exchanges with liquidity is pivotal, because one of the main reasons that drive traders away is the lack of trading volume.

  • Solid multi-chain partnerships — To solidify their objective of simplifying the concept of cryptocurrencies to the masses, Zeux has announced several high profile and noteworthy partnerships with other cryptocurrencies, further strengthening their claims as a game changer.
Apart from the big names such as Bitcoin, Etheruem and Tether (USDT), you can now pay with Qtum, VeChain, Bitcoin SV, NEO, ONT, NEM and USDC in stores with the Zeux app. Zeux is literally bridging the divide between cryptocurrencies. Fancy that.
  • Real world application and adoption — Perhaps the most lauded upon development thus far is Zeux’s progress towards real life point of sale application and adoption.
In January 2019, Zeux took the first step needed to become an Authorized Payment Institution (API) by receiving authorization from account information service provider (AISP) and a payment initiation service provider (PISP) in parallel.
It was subsequently launched in the UK for crypto payments and banking functions in April 2019 before making a big splash with the launching of the Zeux mobile application; the puzzle piece where everything fits in.
Zeux made their biggest wave in the pool in June 2019 by announcing partnerships with the top trio of mobile payments - Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Partnerships with this trio essentially means Zeux has come full circle with its promise of delivering real world application and adoption. Check out how easy it is to pay for a cup of coffee with Zeux and cryptocurrencies with this video on Zeux’s Youtube Channel:

  • Fulfilling on its white-paper promise — The hallmark of a great project is to fulfil and deliver what is promised to the end user. There are many cryptocurrencies out there which have promised a ton but delivered next to nothing. The last thing a cryptocurrency wants is to labelled as a scam.
Not Zeux. Not only is Zeux fulfilling their white-paper promise, they are delivering beyond the expectations of everyone. The mobile application is seamless and easy to use, partnerships with pivotal players and authorities are secured, and partnerships to bridge other cryptocurrencies are coming in thick and fast. At this rate, the sky is the limit

What is next for Zeux?

With milestones being delivered and expectations being exceeded on a unprecedented basis, one can only wonder what is in store for Zeux in the near future.
  • Zeux is currently available in the UK for cryptocurrency payments and banking functions as of now. An official launch for investment products, together with a soft launch for the rest of the European Union (EU) is expected in September 2019.
This will be followed by an official launch for cryptocurrency payments and banking functions for the EU in November 2019 and subsequently, investment products in March 2020.
Zeux will only be launched in the United States of America and Asia in May 2020 and October 2020 respectively.
  • The latest cryptocurrency integrated into Zeux’s platform is the USDC. It is safe to assume that a myriad of partnerships with other cryptocurrencies will be announced in the near future.

Zeux is the world’s first mobile cryptocurrency payment and investment platform; but being the first does not necessarily reaffirms that they are and will be the best. There is still a steep slope to ascend.

Judging by the current scheme of things: the progress of the project, the strength and unity of the project team, the growth of the community and the slow recovery of the cryptocurrency market; it is safe to put your eggs in the Zeux basket.

Zeux aims to be the best, and you can bet on money on them conquering the summit no matter how difficult the climb is.
