This blog has been dormant for quite a while. To kick start a new Renaissance, i won't be posting random crap about life or bullshit about my neighbor's dog anymore. Instead, i will place more attention on factual and intellectual findings regarding anything that i find amusing and interesting.

Going Green With Solar Energy

Solar is an energy source derived from radiation of the Sun’s rays. Basically there are two common types of solar energy: solar thermal energy and solar photovoltaic energy. Solar thermal energy converts the radiation into heat whereas photovoltaic energy converts the radiation into electricity. The primary focus is on the latter source of energy. For photovoltaic solar energy to work, photovoltaic cells are required to convert sunlight into energy through the photoelectric effect. These cells are also known as solar cells and are made of silicon composite materials which absorb the sun’s rays. Solar energy will excite the electrons in the cells, thus converting the energy into a DC current of electricity. Food Fest

Went to Amanda's house for dinner on wednesday night. Apparently she wanted to celebrate her removal of her wisdom tooth so she decided to cook for all of us. Failed to spam her food but we did take some shots of the liquor that was available that night. I managed to refrain myself from getting too carried away because i had classes the next day. I did however took a shot of this Jameson Whiskey and i must say its pretty good. Too bad there wasnt enough for everyone. This is a bottle of pear flavoured Absolut Vodka. It was unopened because nobody seemed to dig vodka. Noob photographer. This is a bottle of some Russian Vodka. It was already opened and i guess some of them drank a bit of this. One guy got quite knocked out because i mixed a bit of this vodka into his bacardi which i'll show in the next picture. He did manage to get home safely though. Again noob photographer.
